8-Week Full Body Program
Before you start 👋
A quick guide so you feel confident on the gym floor from day one.
🔁What is a Rep?
A rep (repetition) is one complete movement — one squat up and down, one push on the chest press, one pull on the cable row. That's one rep.
e.g. 12 reps = do the movement 12 times
📦What is a Set?
A set is a group of reps done back to back without stopping. After a set you rest, then do the next set.
e.g. 3 sets × 12 reps = 12 reps, rest, 12 reps, rest, 12 reps
⏱️Rest Between Sets
After each set, rest 1–2 minutes before doing the next one. If the set felt really heavy or tough — take the full 2 minutes. If it felt easy — 1 minute is enough. Your muscles need a short break to perform well on the next set.
🏋️How Much Weight?
Start lighter than you think. The goal in the first weeks is to learn the movements, not to lift heavy. A good rule of thumb:

— Pick a weight where the last 2–3 reps feel challenging but you can still keep good form.
— Machines: start at a low setting (e.g. 20–30 kg) and adjust.
— Dumbbells: start with 4–8 kg and go up if it feels too easy after the first set.
— If you finish all reps easily, go a little heavier next set or next session.
